Hello Community and StargateZ Team i want to discuss the way Glitching is currently handled cause in my opinion the community members who are glitching doesn´t really care about the punishment they currently get they start glitching again as far as they get unbanned.

So in this thread I want to discuss how the currently ban System could be improved, the discussion is free for everyone and i would appreciate every comment!

How Glitching should be handled in my Opinion:

The Glitch abuses should be counted for a fix period of time (for example per week) so if someone is glitching 2nd time but in longer period of time then one week he gets the punishment for 1st time again. Could explain the System more detailed if someone doesn´t understand.

1st time (in period) : 24h ban
2nd time (in period) : 24h ban + GI reset
3rd time (in period) : Permanently banned

 

 

3rd time (at all) : +24h bantime

5 time (at all) : +24h bantime + GI reset

10 time (at all) : Permanently banned

Feel free to post your personal opinions just aswell i would appreciate them.

The current System posted by myself was unfortunatly written in a hurry so it could not be as balanced as i wanted but i try to improve it in future.

I hope with an improved ban System people will care more about getting reported and fear the punishment!

Our "Bansystem" works so:

1st time (in period) : 24h ban

2nd time (in period) : 24h ban

3rd time (in period) : 24h ban + GI reset

4 time (at all) : 24h ban + GI reset

5 time (at all) : 24h ban + GI reset

... : ... + ...

... : ... + ...

I personally would prefer PaperMoon's way, to @iTzEnDLyHsHD:
If you do something wrong, people get a second chance, understable. If they screw up their second chance, just ban them for 24 hours and give them a GI reset. Why ban somebody for 24 hours if they can do it again and just get banned for 24 hours again?

On my emulator, no I am not advertising it, I am not even making my emulator anymore. So don't remove this post for 'advertising', because I'm not. The glitch-ban system looked like this:

Do you see what I did there? My emulator had no glitches. Why? It's easy as hell to fix! Give me a copy of Colorado, Takedown, Mountains and Clearview and I will fix every single glitch for you. It wouldn't even take me a whole weekend, that's how easy it is. You just have to learn how to do it.

The way I did it at first, when I was still a nob, was putting a teapot in the walls where people glitch up on. If someone would glitch he'd get stuck inside the teapot. You'd have to wait for your hunger and thirst to go to zero. Trust me, that's punishment enough. They won't do it again.

Also, a very easy thing to do using this ban system could be this.
Imagine you have a job, and you know you won't be able to play StarGateZ on Wednesday and Thursday. You can glitch up on a building on Tuesday, get loads of kill and loot, then probably get banned after a few hours. But who cares? You can do this again next week, as it's only periodical, and you won't even notice your ban because you won't be able to play StarGateZ the next 2 days.

The problem with the current system is that it only includes 24h bans and GI resets because if you get 24h banned you just play something else and play (and glitch) again when you are unbanned.

 

If you get banned with GI reset no problem when:

 

1. You don´t care about loot

2. Someone else (Friend) safes your loot in his/her GI even if you get GI reset your guns won´t get deleted.

 

 

Because of that Permanent bans should be aswell given to players which abuse Glitches over and over because they don´t care!

 

My suggestion to ban people with 3 reports in a single week and 10 reports totally is fair cause if you get 10 times reported or 3 times in less then 1 week that doesn´t mean you glitched that often you glitched alot more cause only a small amount of glitches get really reported to collect 10 report you have to glitch massiv amount of times and then you really deserve getting banned permanently. (That´s my opinion)

PaperMoon, Nice! i wish they are going to do that but they wont because stargate75. the men thats like a dictator. Everything that he want will happen and notn on someone's else his way.

My suggestions is fix the glichs in all maps.

Util that my punishment suggestions is:

1 time: 1 day ban

2 times: 1 day ban and GD reset

3 times: 1 week ban

4 times: 1 week ban and GI reset

5 times: permanent ban!

They are not fixing bugs glitches crashes etc thats why they started with a INC because ragezone did not fix it they cant fix it either

So wazard, GespankteKip and Laenoar_ posted their opinions about the ban System yet, but there are way more people out here and i really think you have an opinion aswell so please post it even if you just agree with someone else it helps alot cause we don´t know what you think if you don´t tell us!

Aswell i would like to get some response from the StargateZ Team cause we are talking about a bansystem that you must implement!

Without getting answers from you we don´t know if you agree with us or not we don´t even know if you are following the topic (but i hope you do).
